Rodin: photos by Erwin Olaf
The Groningen Museum commissioned photographer Erwin Olaf to create a series of photographs of the Dutch National Ballet. The series was inspired by the famous sculptures by Auguste Rodin, and the museum has bought nine works by Olaf.
The museum has worked with Erwin Olaf for many years, such as in 2003 when his solo exhibition Silver was on display. The museum owns important works by Olaf and this new series is a magnificent addition.
